Getting Started!

This quick-start guide will walk you through everything, from installing AutoTester to generating your first test case, in just a few minutes.

Installing the AutoTester Browser Extension​

Start by adding the AutoTester Chrome Extension from the Web Store.

This extension enables AutoTester to capture and analyse your app interactions.
(Like app clicks, form fill-ups, page switches within the app and more.)

AI then uses this data to automatically generate test cases for you.

Once the extension is installed, there’s nothing else to set up. You can jump straight into recording your first feature.

⚠️ If the Extension Isn’t Working​

Extension not visible?
Make sure the AutoTester extension is pinned in your browser toolbar.
(Click the puzzle icon in the toolbar, then select "Pin" next to AutoTester.)

App actions not being recorded?
Our extension currently supports only the Chrome browser. Make sure you use Chrome while using AutoTester.
